All pianists should learn to use a tuning lever. There is always the ONE string that has decided to slip from the unison about 1 hr. before you are to perform, or the one or two unisons that slip a couple of weeks after your piano tuner leaves!
note: If you can tune a guitar string, you can probably tune a piano string, but don't go beyond one or two slightly out of tune unisons! Figuring out which string of a 3-string group has slipped a bit is one thing, but anything more than this
