The "Songs of the Decade" series by Hal Leonard is one of the very best in print. Each decade of the 20th century is covered. Music font and spacing are exceptional, which is especially good when looking for music from several decades ago, where some publishers simply use the old original plates, with often blurry results. Most of the series is recommended. The easy piano collections of this series include all lyrics, fingerings (never enough!) as well as chord symbols placed above the staff.

As with all of the "Songs of the Decade" series, there are several interesting pages of text, dealing with the social conditions, major events, and then the styles of music. Interesting read! As for the arrangements in this collection, all are around mid-easy, nothing too difficult technically, but plenty of sharps/flats which make for good sounding arrangements true to the harmony -- but perhaps a bit challenging at times to learn!

Good arrangements, great for adult pianists with not too much background. Around mid-easy, perhaps on the "easier" side of easy piano. Includes all lyrics, as well as chord symbols above the staff.
